Meet Dr. Lisa Reynolds, the heart and soul behind our veterinary practice, and the devoted human to Rupert and Purrlicious, her ever-watchful pets/co-directors.
Sometimes, life takes us on unexpected journeys and Dr. Lisa's story is a testament to that. While it might seem like just yesterday that she donned her graduation cap as a freshly minted veterinarian, it's been 17 incredible years of growth, learning, and furry companionship. And oh, what a journey it has been!
Dr. Lisa embarked on her career with a passion for New Zealand dairy cattle, envisioning herself as a pioneer in the field. Little did she know that life had different plans for her. Her path soon veered towards companion animals and since 2016, she's been exclusively dedicated to the care of our beloved furry friends right here in Tasmania.
In pursuit of excellence, Lisa has committed herself to years of rigorous study, and her dedication bore fruit in the form of not one, but two post-graduate qualifications in feline medicine. But Dr. Lisa's journey doesn't stop there. She's always eager to expand her knowledge and skills. Her next chapter? Delving deeper into the intricate world of emergency and critical care, much to the delight of Rupert, her faithful doggy companion, who thinks it's high time the cats get a little less attention.
When you meet Dr. Lisa and our larger team you’ll know that you're not just meeting a veterinarian – you're meeting a passionate advocate for your pet's well-being, backed by years of experience and a boundless love for animals.
We're proud to have Dr. Lisa Reynolds at the helm, after all, our pets deserve nothing but the very best, and that's exactly what Dr. Lisa and the team at Emergency Animal Hospital Launceston (AEH) are here to provide.
